Christer Nerfont was born in 1969 in the city of Lund in the south of Sweden. His professional debut on stage was in a 1993 production of the musical Sweet Charity which was performed in Lund and Gothenburg. In 1993 he won the lead male role in a newly written musical called Pamela which was performed in Malmö. In the fall of 1996 Christer sang the role of Feuilly in the musical Les Misèrables at the Musical Theater of Värmland. He performed the lead role of Jean Valjean several times as understudy. Christer Nerfont's performance history includes stints as a student farce artist in Lund and as a singer in the rock band Radikal Grönska (radical foliage?). He played the role of Robert in the musical Kristina from Duvemåla in the final seventy four performances prior to the pause before the première in Stockholm. In the fall of 1997 Christer performed the role of Motel the tailor in the Malmö Musical Theater's production of Fiddler on the roof. Education: Christer attended the University of Gothenburg's College of Theater and Music from 1994 to 1997.
