Frida Bergh was born in Stockholm but was raised in Säffle, Sweden in the province of Värmland. She debuted on stage as Fiorella in Rövarna (The robbers) at the Säffle Opera. Frida played the role of Chava in Fiddler on the roof at the Malmö Musical Theater and replaced Helen Sjöholm as Hodel. She has also been a returning artist in the annual summer variety show Solstakvällar (Evenings in Karlstad) on Swedish television from 1993 to 1997. Frida performed in My fair lady at Oscar's Theater in Stockholm 96-97, and played the title role in The little saint. She has also appeared in the operettas The merry widow and Viennese blood. Frida Bergh has also performed speaking parts, played in cabarets, and worked as an associate director. Frida performed the lead role of Kristina for the first time in September 1998.
