Louise was born in Stockholm in 1962. Her professional stage debut was at Stadsteatern (The City Theater of Stockholm) in 1974 in the play Jösses flickor (Goodness, girls!). That show was performed in Bonn and recorded for Swedish Television. In 1975-76 Louise sang songs at the Stockholm Sheraton, performed in a TV variety program called Nygammalt which was broadcast from the Cirkus Theater, and sang in several radio shows. Towards the end of the 70's Louise contributed to the establishment of Lasse Kühler's School of Dance in Stockholm. She was an assistant choreographer and gave instruction in the jitterbug, tap dance, and jazz dance. From 1979 to 1981 Louise was involved in various capacities at the Folkan Theater in Stockholm. She was an assistant choreographer, rehearsal manager, and stand-in for all the parts in the 1979 production of Little Orphan Annie. Louise played the role of Bettan in Karlsson-on-the-roof, and carried the title role in Pinocchio which was broadcast on Swedish Television in 1980. For the production of Pippi Longstockings in 1980 Louise served as assistant choreographer and stand-in for all the major roles which included replacing Siw Malmkvist intermittently in the lead role of Pippi. >From 1981 to 1983 Louise played Betty in The Spanish Fly at the Vasan Theater while concurrently playing the lead role in Mio my Mio at the Folkan Theater. Both of these productions appeared on television. In 1983 Louise sang the coquettish role of Ado Annie in the Riksteatern production of Oklahoma! In the following year, Louise performed in the musical Mrs. Pepperpot, and later played the part of the mistress in the comedy Go'morron min älskling (Good morning, my dear) which was performed at the Comedy Theater. And after that Louise was co-author and assistant director of Fågelpappan (The Father Bird) which played at both the Puck Theater and the Comedy Theater. In 1986-87 Louise appeared in the TV feature Bröderna Olsson (The Olsson Brothers) directed by Hannes Holm and Måns Herngren. In 1989-90 Louise performed in Charley's Aunt at the Vasan Theater and in 1992-94 she was in an entertainment program along with Robert Gustavsson and Stig Grybe among others. In 1992 Louise was on the production staff as property manager for the musical Fame at the China Theater. In 1992-94 she was Pippi in the musical Pippi Longstockings in the Swedish city parks summer tour. In 1993 Louise and Ingrid Janbell wrote the play "The Food Demon". Louise played the lead role in the play which was about eating disorders. It is still being performed for teenagers and adults. In 1996-97 Louise performed in the Riksteater (Swedish National Touring Theater) musical The Black Widow. In 1997 Louise began work with Kristina from Duvemåla. In the show she appears in the chorus but primarily performs the role of Kristina. Louise has represented Sweden in festivals in Turkey, Tunisia, Thailand, Belgium, and Ireland. She starred in Swedish television's Christmas holiday and summer morning children's series. She was the script writer and host for the 1987 summer program, Hannes Holm directed. Louise served on the editing team for the children's program Kannan. She has performed in radio plays, dubbed films, and worked with translations. Louise has also been involved in church concerts and has performed with her own singing groups. TV and film credits: 1984 Starring role in Rosen (The Rose), directed by Staffan Hildenbrand 1984 Supporting role as the daughter of CJ Love Almquist in the series Nya himlar och en ny jord (New heavens and a new earth). 1984 A rumphob in Ronia, the robber's daughter by Astrid Lindgren, directed by Tage Danielsson. 1986-87 Agda in the films, The children of Noisy Village, by Astrid Lindgren, directed by Lasse Hallström. 1986-88 Birgitta in the series, Good Neighbors, directed by Hans Dahlin. 1990-92 Louise starred in Pippi the Pelican, a children's program for Swedish Television. Education and training: The Solo course at the Royal University College of Music 1977-80, acting courses at the University College of Theater, Stockholm, dance at the Stockholm Balletakademien (School of Professional Dance), and Kulturama in Stockholm. Voice training by Kerstin Forsmark of the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm. Louise received a grant from the Karl Gerhard Memorial Fund in 1981.
